The system that took me to the top 1%.

Memento is built on the learning system I developed for myself – one that let me score a V50 on the GMAT verbal test, a score associated with the top 1% of verbal reasoning.

I'm an Oxford and London Business School graduate and the former CEO of an a16z-backed AI startup. Now I'm building that same system into every Memento course.

What learners and parents ask us.

Is Memento really free?

Yes. Memento is in beta and the entire product is free while we build it with learners, parents and tutors.

What is a knowledge graph?

It is Memento’s changing model of the skills a learner can use securely, the areas that need more evidence and the next skills they are ready to tackle.

Does one mistake lower a student’s level?

No. Memento looks for patterns across different tasks. A single response adds evidence; it does not erase prior performance or permanently label a learner.

Can a student move ahead of their class?

Yes. Practice is organised around readiness rather than a fixed weekly schedule, so students can move quickly where learning is secure and slow down where it is not.

Which exams does Memento support?

HKDSE English is live in beta. IELTS preparation is coming soon, and the underlying comprehension and writing system is designed to work beyond any single exam.
